Poklyk Ktulhu stills and animation

I generate stills and animation for every episode, from a prompt for each moment to my own ComfyUI workflows on RunPod and custom-trained LoRAs of the actors.

A show on the Tochka Zboru channel

The work

Every episode of Poklyk Ktulhu comes with stills and animation: characters, places, the key moments of the game. The action moves to a different place and era every time, so someone has to decide how each episode looks: the light, the colour, the mood. And the characters are played by real actors, so each actor's face has to stay recognisable in any costume and any era.

How it's made

  • Mood of the shots. Every image is picked for that episode's mood.
  • A prompt for every shot. I prepare prompts one moment at a time and review each one myself. I wrote my own Claude skills for it: one for stills on FLUX, one for animation on MiniMax H3. Each prompt carries the colour and light of the shot before it.
  • Generation. A ComfyUI pod on RunPod with my own workflows on FLUX.2 Klein.
  • Actor LoRAs. Trained for three actors, so faces hold from shot to shot.
  • Animation and editing. I animate in MiniMax H3 or Luma, and edit and do effects in DaVinci Resolve and Fusion.

Around it, the small things a show is also made of: handouts for the players (a map, a fillable investigator sheet) and reports on what viewers say in the comments.

My role

The creative and the technical side together: prompts, generation, rendering and the edit.
